Description of a Seller Warranty

The Seller Plan covers preowned, single family homes, including townhomes and condominiums. If the property is multiunit, only the owner-occupied unit will be covered. When you list your home with an HMS Home Warranty, and agree to provide a Home Warranty Plan for the Buyer, you receive Seller coverage at no additional cost. (Except in Florida)

The effective date of coverage begins immediately upon receipt and processing of the Seller Home Warranty Plan application by HMS. Seller Home Warranty Plan automatically converts to a Buyer Home Warranty Plan at closing, provided proper payment has been received by HMS within seven (7) days.
